This apartment embraces the calm and tranquility of the site through the introduction of a series of soft curves and materials that evokes a sense of softness throughout the space.

Silent in its understated atmosphere, the design intends to create a reprieve for the owners of this apartment. The broken plan layout is used to carve out and maximise storage spaces while providing a series of shared and private spaces that serves the different functions the owners require.
In order to create a smooth transition between the shared and private spaces, a series of sliding door panels are introduced to subtly inform the transition between these two spaces, while maintaining the openness of the apartment.
Existing structures are also thoughtfully considered to frame different spaces while allowing them to co-exist within this broken-plan layout.
