Austere and calm, this apartment features a clean, intentional design that is pared back, but functional. Employing a palette of warm wood textures with white-washed walls, the design intends to strike a balance between the two different elements to achieve a calm and functional space for a young couple.

The entire living, dining and kitchen area was redone to open up the space to make the space feel expansive, calm and efficient to suit the owner's lifestyle.
Full-height soft closing sliding clear glass door helps separate the kitchen area for heavy cooking, while the reeded glass sliding door in the study brings in diffused natural daylight into the space.
In the bedroom, similar elements could also be found, continuing the same language throughout the apartment.
Clean lines and frames were used to frame up the sleeping space, creating a dedicated space for sleeping whilst the round lights were used to complement the space, providing a soft, diffused glow.
This brings the living and dining into one single space to encourage an open conversation between them with a small bar area with space to fit a piano in the balcony, creating a dedicated nook for the owners to wind down.
