Being located in the heartland district of Singapore, facing the reservoir, this open-plan three-bedroom apartment seeks to imbue a sense of calmness and respite through framing to bring out the subtleties of this apartment while showcasing the owners' character.

Upon entering the apartment, a lower ceiling - extending the entire foyer area paired with a combination of warm and natural textures used throughout the apartment creates a subdued and suppressed form of arrival as you enter. Flushed storage door panels with vertical strips form a subtle rhythm in the main living space while maintaining functionality.
To make space for a proper dining area attached with a bistro corner, the existing kitchen area was reduced slightly to create a small nook that integrates the bistro corner seamlessly with some open shelves for display, all while maintaining a compact yet functional kitchen for the owners.
Architectural and decorative lights were strategically placed not only to enhance but also to frame moments designed with the owners' lifestyle in mind, creating pockets of spaces that showcase their character throughout the apartment.
