Natural textures take centre stage in this apartment designed for a young couple. Employing a palette of light wood timber frames and natural quartz in the foyer sets the tone of this apartment, inviting respite and calmness to the space.

The entrance shoe cabinet – cladded with quartz is expressed as a monolithic form, setting as a cornerstone of this apartment, whereas a light wood timber frame blocks out the view from the entrance, creating privacy while slowly revealing the open-plan interior space.
In the dining area, an Arturo Alvarez Tevio4 pendant, featuring pleated mesh forms adorns the dining area creating an interplay of light and shadow in its organic form. As an extension to the dining area, the kitchen features full-height light wood panels paired with cool grey cabinets to match the natural quartz, creating different tonalities to the space.
Opting for a cleaner look, the bedroom features the same light wood used in the living area to create continuity. To soften the look of the space, curves and cove light were added to break the enormity and claustrophobic feeling of the wardrobe space.
