The Loft

The Loft

This project is located in the heart of the Central Business District and features a 44 sqm condo with a high ceiling. To make the most of this vertical space, we've incorporated a loft, enhancing the sense of openness and fostering a dynamic interaction between the upper and lower levels.

The lower floor is dedicated to communal living, with the kitchen and living areas designed in an open-plan layout. Despite the open-plan design, the space is thoughtfully organized with a clear demarcation, where the living area benefits from the high ceiling, creating a sense of grandeur and volume.

The dressing area, crafted beneath the loft stairs, maximizes space with mirrored storage. Adjacent to the dresser, we have transformed the space into a void that serves as a serene nook for plants, adding a touch of tranquillity and infusing the interior with a natural element. The neutral palette of light oak and grey tones with travertine-textured paint further adds to the visual depth of the space.

The study is thoughtfully positioned near the windows, extending upon the existing bay window to create a bright and inviting workspace. Adjacent to the study, a portion of the wardrobe is allocated as a bookshelf for added functionality.

Next to the study is an alternative lounging area with an upholstered backrest alongside the table and a cushioned seat atop the bay window.

The bay windows run along the L-shaped wall, and to maximize space, we have designed the stairs around them, integrating the bay window into the staircase leading up to the sleeping area on the second floor.
